FREE Introductory Virtual Combo Class


Yoga Basics Plus, Qigong Meditation Fusion, and Chair Yoga

I’m offering this free introductory virtual combo session – via Zoom – for both on-going students as well as those who may be new to my work and particular style of teaching. Not sure what class you want to sign up for? This class will give you a sampling and help you decide! This class includes:

Yoga Basics Plus (20 minutes)
Qigong/Meditation (20 minutes)
Chair Yoga (20 minutes)

Designed for “newbies” as well as on-going students – and friends – near and far – who may just want to see what I’m up to on the virtual plane.  All levels welcome!

Class Format: 11 am – Check-in; class begins at 11:15 am PST.
We’ll start with a few standing yoga postures and from there go on to a seated Qigong meditation and standing practice followed by a sampling of Chair Yoga. Time will be allotted for any questions and concerns you may have. Class will complete by 12:30 pm.

Note that classes begin fifteen minutes after the stated starting time. I call this fifteen minute period “the gathering.” This is so all are checked in before class starts. If you are brand new to Zooming, please let me know so that we can set up a test run well before your scheduled class – just in case technical issues need to be resolved and might take you time to resolve. This should only take about five to fifteen minutes.

Zoom Protocol:

  • Please be on time. The 15-minute gathering time is crucial for your benefit and all others.
  • The gathering time allows for audio and visual checks; I need to see and hear you!
  • Be sure all downloads are handled so the bandwidth works.
  • Cell phones are muted but available for texting if any technical issues arise during the session.
  • The Zoom chat option will also be available at the bottom of your screen for private messaging.
  • Please keep children, pets, spouses and roommates out of your Zoom space.
  • I’ll ask you to mute during the beginning and ending meditations; unmuted during the session. Unmuted during the session – for audible feedback; this helps me help you!
