  • Beginner Level via Zoom Platform Wednesdays (September 16 - October 28) • 2:30 - 3:45 pm PST Join me in the virtual world connecting via the internetYoga poses modified for those in need of adaptive methods for exercise seated in chairs.  Standing work with chair used as a prop.  Class content also includes breathing techniques as well as a guided meditation for relaxation.  Class Options: FULL COURSE:  Please select the 6 week course below to register for ALL.

  • Yoga, Qigong, Meditations, Poetry and Art

    FIRST Sundays, January 3 - June 6, 2021 2 - 4 pm PST

    JANUARY 3  /  MARCH 7  /   MAY 2  /  JUNE 6 Combination of yoga poses (asana) and Qigong movements, along with time for writing and/or art making, prayer to YOUR Higher Power (whomever or whatever that is to YOU), the use of mantra (repetition of a sacred sound or phrases) and affirmations (positive statements for good outcome.) All levels welcome! January and May – Posture, Poetry and Prayer (Yoga format)  /  March and June – Movement, Mantra and Meditation (Qigong/T'ai Chi format) The asana and Qigong movements are “user-friendly” and can be adapted as needed. The focus of this program is to support your inner world through contemplative and creative practices. Class Format: 2 pm – Check-in; class begins at 2:15 pm PST.

  • All Levels via Zoom Platform Wednesdays, January 27 - June 16, 2021 • 4 - 5 pm PST (note new time!) 20 minutes of movement or poses/20 minutes meditation – for 21 weeks! The focus of each class is the meditative aspect – using the movement/poses – whether yoga or Qigong – to facilitate the time of stillness and silence. The monthly theme, as established at each First Sunday workshop will be carried throughout the month at every Wednesday class. The Qigong (pronounced chee-gong) movements are gentle – often referenced as T’ai Chi. These standing moves come from China’s ancient healing tradition and philosophical lineage. The yoga Wednesdays will reflect “The Pose of the Month” calibrated for all levels. Whatever we do, either Qigong or yoga can be adapted as a “Chair Yoga” option, so all may benefit. Class Format: 4 pm check-in; class begins at 4:15 pm PST.

  • Intermediate Level 1 via Zoom Platform Tuesdays, APRIL 27 - JUNE 1  •  Time: 3:30 - 5 pm PST Make-up Class: Tuesday, June 8 Join me in the virtual world connecting via the internetFocus is on form and sequencing in preparation for classic asana practice. Attention with intention is given to promote flexibility, strength and balance. If you sign up for the course, and do not miss a class, the “make-up class” is an added bonus for you! Drop-ins are welcome on the make-up day, at the regular drop-in rate. NOTE:  I need a minimum of 6 people registered for the whole course to run this class, with a class size limit of 12 people. Pre-registration is recommended! If you are a new student (new to me) and would like to join this class, please CONTACT ME. We will work out the details in person.
