Contemplative Practices for Challenging Times (CPCT)
FIRST SUNDAY OF THE MONTH Workshop: Combination of yoga poses (asana) and Qigong movements, along with time for writing and/or art making, affirmations to YOUR Higher Power (whomever or whatever that is to YOU), and the use of mantra (repetition of a sacred sound, positive words or phrases.)

JANUARY 3 / FEBRUARY 7 / MARCH 7 / APRIL 4 / MAY 2 / JUNE 6
Via Zoom Platform
Each First Sunday gathering will reflect a monthly theme and alternates between yoga as the physical activity one month, and Qigong the following month. The asana and Qigong movements are “user-friendly” and can be adapted as needed. The focus of this program is to support your inner world through contemplative and creative practices. All Levels Welcome!

First and Third Wednesdays = Qigong and Meditation
Second and Fourth Wednesdays = Yoga and Meditation

The focus of each class is the meditative aspect – using the movement/poses – whether yoga or Qigong – to facilitate the time of stillness and silence. All Levels Welcome!

6-Week Virtual Course – Winter 2021

Yoga Basics Plus: Virtual 6-Week Course
Tuesdays, JANUARY 26 – MARCH 2, 2021 • 3 pm
Class Duration: 1.5 hours (gather at 3, begin at 3:15, end at 4:30) via Zoom Platform
Intermediate Level 1 with focus on form, flexibility, strength and balance. I keep this class small, with a limit of 12 participants – so I can interact with all of you – see what you’re doing and give corrections/adaptations appropriately. There is a fee for this class and pre-registration is required to hold your space. Drop-ins welcome, as space available.
Make-up class: Tuesday, March 9 • If you sign up for the course, and do not miss a class, the “make-up class” is an added bonus for you! Drop-ins are welcome on this day as well, at regular drop-in rate.

Can’t make any of the fall courses, but would like to work with me privately – or with a friend or small group? I’m available virtually anywhere in the world, via Zoom, and onsite – I come to you by appointment – in the North County San Diego area – for training sessions tailored to your needs (with masks and social distancing protocols in place.) Please contact me for further information. If you’re new to my work, we can set up a consultation. If you are a current student – or have been in the past – we can set a time to get you started on an individualized program.
